“This is something new we want to try, explained Sharon Speedway GM Dave Willoughby. “Every year we are asked about having snowmobile races at Sharon. So we did some research, worked with our insurance company, and put this deal together with the Ohio State Snowmobile Association. I’m really looking forward to it as are the good folks at the O.S.S.A. We’re expecting a great turnout and if things go well, we may try another one in February. There are a lot of dirt racers and fans that love snowmobiling in the winter so this should be a fun deal for everyone!
There will be a $20 registration fee per class. Registration forms will be available on the website.
Gates will open at 9 a.m. with racing at 11 a.m. Adult all access facility admission will be just $5! Children 12 and under are free! The no snow make-up date will be Saturday, January 29.
