FRIDAY NIGHT THUNDER RAINED OUT & RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 29 AT SHARON

(Hartford, OH)…Heavy thunderstorms hit Sharon Speedway on Friday night at 5 p.m. washing out the “Friday Night Thunder� program after a day of sunny skies and with the temperature at 100 degrees. The event has been rescheduled for next Friday, July 29 featuring the 358 Modifieds, Summit Racing Equipment Econo Mods, Joe’s Radiator/Uni-Tech Frame Straightening Mod Lites, Micro Sprints, Uni-Tech Frame Straightening/Joe’s Radiator Sportsman Dwarf Cars, and the Mini Late Models.
Sharon will be in action on Saturday (July 23) with the FASTRAK Northeast Late Model Touring Series, Governor Insurance Agency Big-Block Modifieds, Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars, and the Presidential Lawn Care Mini Stocks. It’s Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Night as they’ll be giving away a GM 604 engine to a lucky FASTRAK racer. Race time is 7 p.m.
On Sunday, is the Northwest Truck & Tractor Pull with gates opening at noon and racing at 2 p.m.
Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
