SATURDAY’S “SPRINGDURO 150� ENDURO & OPEN PRACTICE RAINED OUT & RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY

(Hartford, OH)…With rain showers overnight Friday and into Saturday morning along with the high probability throughout the day and night, Sharon Speedway has postponed Saturday’s open practice and “Springduro 150� to Sunday (March 25). Open practice will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 4 with the Enduro starting at 4:30.
The inaugural “Springduro 150� was won by Andy Sweetland, an Enduro veteran and E-Mod racer, from Spartansburg, Pa. Sweetland came from the 39th starting position to capture the $1,000 prize. Last year, Enduro ace Tim Gillette of Linesville, Pa. nailed down the $1,000 victory.
A total of 39 drivers have pre-entered with some additional cars possible. Several racers are in the field led by pole-sitter Brent Johnson. Grandstand admission is just $7 and pit passes are $20. Students 13 and under are always free at Sharon Speedway. Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
