Rain wins at Sharon for 3rd straight Saturday on 4/28

(Hartford, OH)…For the third straight Saturday, Sharon Speedway has been forced to cancel its racing program. With sprinkles around, temps only in the 30s and an 80% chance of rain later in the day and night, the decision was made to pull the plug.
Sharon will try again this Saturday night, May 5 for Bob & Chuck Eddy Night as “Steel Valley Thunder� will feature the Governor Insurance Agency DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, Barris Supply FASTRAK Late Models, Summit Racing Equipment E-Mods, Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars, HTMA/Precise Racing Products Econo Mods, and the Deforest Used Parts Mini Stocks. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7.
Saturday’s scheduled Youth Sports and Scout Night have both been rescheduled for May 5. The RAD Racing Night will be rescheduled on Saturday, June 2.
Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
