RAIN WASHES OUT SHARON JUNE 2 FOR 4TH TIME

(Hartford, OH)…Several rounds of late afternoon showers washed out racing action scheduled for Saturday night at Sharon Speedway. It was the fourth complete rainout of the season adding to three straight lost events from April 14 on. It was the second time the RAD Racing Night was rained out. Stayed tuned for a make-up date along with a possible rescheduled Twin-State Auto Racing Club Night.
Sharon will try again next Saturday night, June 9 for Globe Restaurant/Truck World Night as “Steel Valley Thunder� will feature the Governor Insurance Agency DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, Barris Supply FASTRAK Late Models, Summit Racing Equipment E-Mods, Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars, HTMA/Precise Racing Products Econo Mods, and the Deforest Used Parts Mini Stocks. There will also be kids bike races plus the May 27 make ups for the Econo Mods and Mini Stocks. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7.
Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
