Races rained out Saturday, June 29 for 2nd time of the week

(Hartford, OH)...After sunshine and dry weather graced Sharon Speedway all day long Saturday, rain showers that surrounded the speedway finally moved in shortly after 6 PM washing out the program.

Sharon had completed 12 straight events until Tuesday's night's Ohio Speedweek was rained out. Now Saturday marks the second straight cancellation, but first on a Saturday night since April 13.

Sharon will feature the BOSS non-wing Sprint Cars along with the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series next Saturday night (July 6). The Gibson Insurance Agency Stock Cars and Deforest Used Parts Mini Stocks will also be on the card.

Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
