July 11 Lou Blaney Memorial Event Info featuring afternoon activities, dinner with the Blaneys & Auction to benefit Alzheimer's & more!

On Saturday, July 11 Sharon Speedway will host the 7th annual "Lou Blaney Memorial" featuring for the 1st time the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars in a $10,000 to-win event along with the BRP Modified Tour racing for $2,000 to-win! 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser will be competing in this event for the 1st time ever!

Admission for those 14 & over is $22. Pit passes are $35. To purchase advanced tickets, call the speedway at 330-772-5481 or Kate Blaney at 330-240-8975.

The Blaney Family is trying to raise money for the Greater East Ohio Area Alzheimer's Association to support their work and mission. We can do this with the support of our many race fans, while having a fun day of activities at the speedway. GATES OPEN AT NOON FOR THE FESTIVITIES.

For just an extra $13 ($35 including grandstand ticket or $48 including a pit pass pass) on July 11, you can eat with the friends and family of the Blaneys...including Dave and Dale!

Dinner proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The dinner will be at 4 PM. Deadline to reserve a meal is July 7. Call the track at 330-772-5481 or Kate at 330-240-8975 to reserve.

There will be a big Corn Hole Tournament for adults. Registration is at 12:30 PM with the games to begin at 1:30. There will be a top 3 payoff.

Kids will enjoy sack races, running races, ball throwing contests, frisbee competition, and more. Money can be earned by the winners. These games will begin at 1:30 PM.

Dunk the Blaney girls!! Emma, Leah, and Erin will be at the dunk tank!

Steve Kinser will be signing autographs at no charge from 4:45-5:15 PM.

A silent auction of many, varied baskets will be available for everyone to bid on and then a live auction of wonderful race memorabilia and sports related items will be sold off to the highest bidder. The silent auction will be all afternoon with the live auction beginning around 5 PM.

All monies garnered from these activities will be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
