Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing to present FREE "Fan Appreciation Night" on June 10
- A celebration of dirt-track racing action in the heartland of America and fun for the whole family will be the focus when Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing sponsors the annual Fan Appreciation Night at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio on Saturday, June 10.
- NASCAR Championship Weekend Contest - Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing is offering fans a chance to win a trip for two to the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Series Championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.
- Sharon Speedway gates will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow fans to enjoy the many activities that will be available during race day.
Race enthusiasts and families are invited to enjoy free admission to the speedway that night for four hours of dirt-track action featuring Big-Block Modifieds, Stock Cars, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds and Econo Mods.
“Fan Appreciation Night is always a great event at our track and having Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing as the presenting sponsor will make it even more so,� said Sharon Speedway co-owner Dave Blaney. “In addition to the free admission, there will be a travel sweepstakes, a line-up of Ford’s latest vehicles, family friendly activities and give-a-ways for fans of all ages.�
NASCAR Championship Weekend Contest - Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing is offering fans a chance to win a trip for two to the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Series Championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November, 2017. One winner, selected randomly from those in attendance who enter, will receive:
- Round-trip airfare for the winner and guest
- Three nights’ hotel accommodations
- Ford Eco-Boost 400 grandstand tickets to the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Series Championship race and race-day hospitality package
- A VISA gift card for meals and incidentals ($500)
- Motorcraft apparel package and No. 21 race team autographed memorabilia

Win With Ryan Blaney Challenge - Should the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion, driven by Ryan Blaney, win the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono on June 11, everyone in attendance at Fan Appreciation Day can take their June 10 Sharon Speedway admission ticket and the “Win With Ryan Blaney� certificate to a participating Youngstown Metro Ford dealership or Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center to redeem the “The Works� vehicle service package (or any equivalent $40 service). Sharon Speedway attendees will receive the “Win With Ryan Blaney� Challenge certificate as part of a welcome package upon entry.
The green flag drops, starting the racing action at 7 p.m., but gates will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow fans to enjoy the many Ford vehicle displays and activities that are being planned, including:
- The Ford F-Series Tech Tour display demonstrating the all-new F-Series Super Duty capabilities and class-exclusive features
- The No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion NASCAR show car
- Family Fun in the Fan Zone including a Motorcraft® Tested Tough® Battery bounce house
- Enter for the chance to win the NASCAR Championship Weekend (winner announced race night on June 10, 2017 at Sharon Speedway)
- Enter for a chance to win a 2018 Mustang GT (national contest, winner announced January 2018)
Free tickets also will be available at the Sharon Speedway gate on June 10. Sharon features weekly Saturday night "Steel Valley Thunder" racing competition. Following the "Fan Appreciation Night", Sharon will return to action on Tuesday, June 20 with Ohio Speedweek featuring Tony Stewart's Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars in a $5,000 to-win event along with the Mini Stocks. The "Lou Blaney Memorial" will take place on Saturday, July 8 with a return appearance by the All Star Sprint Cars along with the Big-Block Modifieds. On Thursday, July 20, the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series returns in a $6,000 to-win event plus the Mini Stocks. Sharon has a no carry-in cooler policy.

About Sharon Speedway
Opened in 1929, Sharon Speedway is one of the oldest, continuously running weekly racetracks in the United States. It features Modified, DIRTcar Big-Block Modified, Econo Mod, RUSH Late Model and Stock Cars racing most Saturday nights from mid-April to mid-September. The 3/8-mile, high-banked, dirt-and-clay oval track features NASCAR-level facilities and amenities.
