(Hartford, OH)…After a successful "Lou Blaney Memorial" on Saturday night, the stage was set for Justin Snyder's "Salute to the Troops" event presented by Self Made Racing LLC on Sunday night featuring the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars presented by Mobil 1 and the Terry Bowser Excavating RUSH Sprint Cars; however, Mother Nature had other plans. Rain began mid-morning and with thunderstorms forecasted throughout the day and night, the decision was made to call off the event. Track and Series officials are working together to find a possible makeup date.
Coming up next Saturday night (July 17) will be the inaugural "Bill Forney Memorial" featuring the Pace Performance RUSH Late Models in a $3,1999 to-win Flynn's Tire/Born2Run Lubricants Touring Series event plus the Terry Bowser Excavating RUSH Sprint Cars, Gibson Insurance Agency Pro Stocks, and the HTMA/Precise Racing Products RUSH Sportsman Modifieds. General admission is $15. Kids 13 and under are free. Pit passes are $35. All gates open at 4 p.m. with racing at 7.
